Arrival at Marrakech Airport. Meet and assist by our representative. Transfer to the hotel.

After checking in, you have free time to relax or begin exploring the Red City on your own.

Dinner and overnight in Marrakech.

Morning guided city tour of Marrakech. Your local guide will take you to the most iconic sites of the Red City, including:

• Koutoubia Mosque: The largest mosque in Marrakech, with a 77 meter minaret (exterior visit).
• Bahia Palace: A stunning 19th century palace with intricate courtyards, gardens, and decorated rooms.
• Saadian Tombs: The resting place of Saadian dynasty rulers, rediscovered in 1917.
• Jemaa el-Fna Square: The heart of Marrakech, filled with street performers, storytellers, and food stalls.
• The vibrant souks: Spices, carpets, lanterns, leather goods, and traditional crafts.

After lunch (not included), departure through the High Atlas Mountains and Tizi n'Tichka Pass to Ouarzazate.

The Tizi n'Tichka pass sits at 2,260 meters and offers spectacular views of mountains, valleys, and Berber villages. Several photo stops will be made along the way.

Arrival in Ouarzazate, known as the Hollywood of Africa or the Door of the Desert.

Dinner and overnight in Ouarzazate.

Departure through the Dades Valley and Todra Gorges to Merzouga.

Morning – Dades Valley: The Dades Valley is known for its dramatic rock formations, winding river, and traditional Berber villages. You will see the famous monkey fingers rock formation and ancient kasbahs along the valley.

Afternoon – Todra Gorges: The Todra Gorges are a stunning narrow canyon of red rock, carved by the Todra River over thousands of years. The canyon walls rise up to 300 meters high, in some places only 10 meters apart. You will have time to walk through the canyon and take spectacular photographs.

Late Afternoon – Arrival in Merzouga: Merzouga is the gateway to the Sahara Desert and the majestic Erg Chebbi dunes, some of the tallest in Morocco, reaching up to 150 meters.

Depending on the season and availability, you will enjoy:

• Dinner and overnight in a desert camp (tents with mattresses, blankets, and pillows) for a true Sahara experience under the stars, OR
• Dinner and overnight in a hotel in Merzouga

If staying in the desert camp, you may also enjoy a camel ride (optional, can be arranged locally).

Departure via Erfoud and the Ziz Valley to Midelt.

Morning – Erfoud: Erfoud is known for its fossil industry. The desert around Erfoud is rich in marine fossils, dating back to when the Sahara was under water. You may have time to visit a fossil workshop.

Ziz Valley: The Ziz Valley is a dramatic oasis of thousands of palm trees stretching along the Ziz River. You will stop at panoramic viewpoints for spectacular photographs of the valley below.

Afternoon – Arrival in Midelt: Midelt is a town nestled between the Middle and High Atlas mountains, known for its apples, fossils, and stunning mountain views.

Dinner and overnight in Midelt.

Departure via Ifrane to Fez. Guided city tour of Fez.

Morning – Ifrane: Stop in Ifrane, known as the Switzerland of Morocco. This alpine-style town was built by the French in the 1930s. Unlike anywhere else in Morocco, Ifrane has red tiled roofs, flower-filled roundabouts, and a stone lion carved into the rock.

Continue through the Middle Atlas mountains, passing through cedar forests where you may see wild Barbary macaques.

Afternoon – Arrival in Fez and guided city tour: Your local guide will lead you through the winding alleyways of Fes el-Bali, the UNESCO listed medina. You will discover:

• The Bou Inania Madrasa: A masterpiece of Marinid architecture.
• The University of Al Quaraouiyine: Founded in 859 AD (exterior view).
• The Chouara Tannery: Where leather has been dyed for over a thousand years.
• The Nejjarine Museum of Wood Arts.
• The vibrant souks of Fez.

Dinner and overnight in Fez.

Departure to Rabat. Guided city tour of Rabat. Continue to Casablanca. Panoramic city tour of Casablanca.

Morning – Guided city tour of Rabat, the capital of Morocco, including:

• Kasbah of the Oudaias: A picturesque fortress overlooking the Atlantic Ocean, with white and blue streets.
• Mausoleum of Mohammed V: A masterpiece of modern Alaouite architecture.
• Hassan Tower: The unfinished minaret of a massive mosque begun in the 12th century.

Afternoon – Continue to Casablanca for a panoramic city tour, including:

• Hassan II Mosque (exterior visit): One of the largest mosques in the world.
• The Corniche: A scenic coastal promenade.
• City center: Modern architecture and wide boulevards.

Dinner and overnight in Casablanca.

Departure to Marrakech. Free time.

Morning – Departure from Casablanca to Marrakech. Drive time approximately 2.5 hours.

Afternoon – Free time in Marrakech. You may choose to:

• Explore the souks for last minute shopping
• Return to Jemaa el-Fna square
• Visit the Majorelle Gardens
• Relax at a traditional cafe
• Enjoy a final Moroccan meal

Dinner and overnight in Marrakech.

Breakfast at the hotel. Transfer to Marrakech Airport according to your flight schedule.
